Saint-Gobain signs a definitive agreement with Flinken Group

Marking a key milestone on 24 March 2026 (Tue), was the signing of a joint venture definitive agreement between Saint-Gobain and Flinken Group. Under the terms of the agreement, Saint-Gobain is expected to hold a 70% majority stake in the proposed joint venture, with Flinken Group retaining the remaining 30%, subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals.

This partnership brings together Saint-Gobain, a global leader in light and sustainable construction, and Flinken Group, a Sarawak-based construction materials specialist, to establish a joint venture in Malaysia. Together, by combining global expertise with strong local manufacturing capabilities and market knowledge, we aim to accelerate innovation and better serve customers across East Malaysia.
