Saint-Gobain completes the acquisition of FOSROC, a leading player in construction chemicals in Asia and emerging markets, further strengthening its worldwide presence in the sector.
Today, Saint-Gobain Malaysia Sdn Bhd is pleased to announce the successful completion of the acquisition, as initially disclosed on June 14th, 2023, of Hume Cemboard Industries Sdn Bhd (HCBI). HCBI with one manufacturing facility and more than 200 employees, is widely recognized as the leading manufacturer of light boards utilized in facades, partitions, and ceilings across Malaysia.
Saint-Gobain Weber and E.MIX Malaysia successfully secured the supply of its range of Rendering & Plastering Mortar for the iconic Menara Warisan Merdeka project and has till date supplied to the value of MYR 2.3m. The construction of the iconic building was estimated to cost RM 5b.
The gathering serves as a platform for staffs from different location to connect, make exchanges and to create greater bonding.
